About Francis Hannon
Francis Hannon practices in the DeWitt Law Firm’s Tampa office. Mr. Hannon received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia before graduating from the Stetson University College of Law. Currently a resident of St. Petersburg, Mr. Hannon comes to the firm with a background in real estate and general civil litigation. Mr. Hannon’s practice is currently focused on complex civil litigation, including real estate litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, foreclosure litigation, and contract disputes.

Weekly D2676 (Fla. 5th DCA November 30, 2018)(Although the trial court properly ordered that a lis pendens be discharged on property the former wife owned, it erred in requiring her to place monies into escrow and in failing to require the former husband to post a bond, as the relief fashioned effectively enjoined the former wife’s use and benefit of the sale proceeds of her house while the parties disputed the status of a loan.)
